On July 30, TDI’s President Adam Pack presented our latest investigations of humpback whale song as well as the PBS film “Mystery of the Humpback Whale Song” (which features this work), to an enthusiastic standing-room-only audience at the public library in Petersburg, Alaska. Pack, who has traveled to Petersburg annually since 2007 to study the humpbacks in Frederick Sound, Chatham Strait and Stephens Passage commented “It was an awesome turnout of Petersburg residents and visitors who are truly interested in learning about marine mammal science.”
Prior to the presentation, Pack gave a radio interview on KFSK Alaska about our humpback whale project and our latest research. To hear the radio interview click here.
